This dog of mine has some serious gas. It is bad.
We drove past a skunk war zone, and as soon as we had rolled up the windows, the dog, probabably intetionally, let one loose. Dirven by panic at the horid smell, we quickly rolled the windows down, hoping the skunk smell would overpower the dogs pungance.
Bad Dog.
Stopping at a hotel late tonight, Farrell, driving didn’t consider the of the clearance at the entrance. and scrapped the top of the rental on the top, we were able to drive off after letting air out of the tires. We went to a different hotel.

Up at around 10am I took the dog for a walk, grabbed a bite and hit the road again.
Ferrell and I found the Hoover Dam, and snapped a few picks.
1754 miles till New Orleans… It’s going to be a long night.

We took a slight detour, stopping in LA for dinner with my father, then, Vegas.
We arrived at the Tahitti Club at arround.
The cards at the MGM were not on my side and I booked out of the casino, less $100 at arround 6am.

I woke up this morning, the third day on Ferrells couch. I still hadn’t committed to a plan of action. It was time to make a desition, anything, but something had to be done.
Ferrell had stayed at his girlfriends place the previous night, and I sent him a text message: I’m renting a car, I’m outta here.
He had a number of things to move. And had decided to travel with me.
So we are on the road.

The damage to the RV is crippling to the trip. The repair costs are estimated at over $1500, not enough that I cant afford it, but enough to make another breakdown fatal.
At this point I have decided to pull the cord on the RV. Its end has come.
So everything has come to a screaching hault before it even started.
Its time for plan B.
Im getting a backpack.
